Travel to the Philippines

Fewer pics today as it's been a day of travelling today, leaving the hostel at 5am to get to the airport early so we could see the waterfall. Slight catch, it wasn't on and all the lights were off as it was too early. We then walked the opposite direction to our terminal so we could get the air link, again, very disappointing as you couldn't see very much out of the windows. One of Lauryn's mad plans which didn't quite pay off - we will have to come back one day! The other areas of the airport were spectacular with fishtanks and green spaces everywhere! Another unusual point was that security was at the gate, we weren't sure why or what the benefit of this was.

We arrived in the Philippines around 2pm, checked in and had a nap and a snack as we were both exhausted after a busy week. In the evening, we met our tour group who we will be spending the next week with exploring 2 islands of the Philippines. They are all lovely and we are very excited for some fun travelling ahead!
